Absence makes the heart grow fonder !

Sorry about the lack of updates and photos. I am in California at the moment and busy with fundraising activities. Spoke at all the Masses at St Hedwig's Parish in Los Alamitos this past weekend and was very well received. Their pastor, Father Ken, will be coming to visit us in mid-August which could lead to all kinds of wonderful, collaborative things. Am scheduled to be in Maine for the weekend of the 12th and 13th of August and will be home by the 16th. Updates and photos will start up again at that time.
Many of you know that my mother passed away on the 17th of July. I was fortunate enough to be there and to have communicated one last time with her. Thank you for your prayers and support. My sisters and I deeply appreciate your concern.

David McIver and his wife, Loube, donated this statue to us. David is the artist and the statue of Jesus is glorious. The kids were around for the unveiling and had a ton of questions. Ralph, in the foreground, is always more interested in the camera. The statue will be placed in the courtyard of the Quad until the chapel is built.  Posted by Picasa

Wedding bells announce the wedding of Tanis and Islande

Tanis Jolicoeur and Islande Chery tied the knot last Saturday at Castel-Pere. The Sixto was filled to capacity as we celebrated the love that Islande and Tanis share. The whole ceremony was memorable- from the dancing ushers to the late appearance of Tailens. A reception was held in the new workshop and it was a great occasion for the Espwa family to meet both the Jolicoeurs and the Cherys. May God bless their union with joy, patience and understanding.

The Jolicoeur Family. That's Tailens in between Mom and Dad. He missed most of the ceremony. Nap time must be respected. Posted by Picasa
This is the solar section of the SolarPedalFlo water pump system that has finally been installed and is working like a charm. We waited for the second floor of the Quad to be finished as this is the best placement for the solar panels. This means a lot less pedaling. Posted by Picasa
