Some of the workers gathering before the long day of pouring a roof for the school. It is 6:30 AM and the work won't end until just before dusk. 

These branches will be supporting the plywood sheets and forms for the roof of the school. 

Front of the school-- our team is ready to mix cement, haul it up the makeshift stairs and pour the new roof on the second deck. Talk about labor intensive. 

This is a group shot of the new boys who came in yesterday. A few came with clothing but most just showed up with what they were wearing. There are 31 of them and the day was filled with laughter and tears. Keep these kids in your prayers as they begin a new chapter in their lives as part of the Espwa family. 

Here they all are in the back of our truck about to head out to Castel-Pere, their new home. 

The gentleman with the blue cap is the local MINUSTHA (United Nations) commander. He and his troops are from Uruguay. Here he is speaking with our Andy and a fellow officer on our water testing project. 

The Uruguayan military serving in southern Haiti for the United Nations came for a visit this morning. It wasn't purely a social call. They came at Andy's invitation to check our water sources.
