Stay informed, stay involved: here's one way of keeping up with what's happening in southern Haiti. Please consider supporting our mission to save orphans and vulnerable children from desperate poverty; contributions can be sent to our partners at Free the Kids - www.freethekids.org. Thank you for your help.

Breakfast at Castel-Pere consists of cornmeal and water. They'll have rice and beans for lunch along with some fruit juice. Supper will be dumplings in gravy with water. No wonder we don't have a weight problem!!
I came across your blog by chance, as I had bookmarked your Theo's Work Web page but hadn't checked it in a while. I am astounded by all the good you, your staff, and supporters have brought to those kids -- and from the (very!) few pictures you have posted of yourself I'm glad to see that you're holding up after all these years. I will try my best to better keep up with news of your work in Haiti, now that you have a blog that gives immediate and updated access to your whereabouts. My wife and I have sent you personal mail a couple of times in the recent past (particularly for Christmas), I hope you received it. If not, that's fine too; as long as you are doing good, we are happy for you. Well, as you always say, "God bless". Much success, love, health, and prosperity to you and everyone there. Always remember that you have our eternal friendship.
Yours,
Alejandro (Alex) Henao and Claudia Moreno, Gainesville, Florida, U.S.A.
