This is 23 y/o Renald Amazan. He was just released from prison this morning after being there ten months. He was arrested along with four others for a theft. Renald finally saw a judge yesterday who declared that there was no reason to hold him so he'll be home for Christmas. He came to see me because he has no shoes and no money to get home. Gave him 1,000 gourdes ($28 US) so that he could buy sandals and take a bus to Jeremie. We wish him well.Saturday, December 22, 2007
