Requiem in pace

Photo taken of Jean-Wil when he was still able to smile.
It is my sad duty to inform you that Jean-Wil Plaisime died this morning. I ask you to pray for those of us who mourn, for his family and friends. He was such a good and thoughtful person I am certain he is now with God, is smiling again and no longer suffering.

  1. I am so extremely sad to hear about Jean Wil. I cried when I heard from Paige this morning, Fr. Marc. I remember feeling so grateful to have touched him and hugged him last Sunday at Mass. I prayed for him so hard during that service....but felt so devastated when I looked at his weak body. I just wanted you to know that I will have you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My heart is heavy. Take care.

  2. My heart is broken. I am so sorry for all who mourn him. He will forever live in my memory as a kind, honorable young man with a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a snow storm.

  5. This is a beautiful photo of Jean-Wil, but I also recall the pain on his face when I saw him in November. Surely, he is at peace now...but will be missed by his Espwa family...

  6. Dear Father Marc- I, too, was sad to hear from Pam this morning re: Jean Wil's passing. I was so pleased to have met him last Sunday, and know that he was very special to Paige. Please know that I will keep him, and everyone at Project Espwa close to my heart during the days ahead. Pat

  8. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
