Well diggers

Here's the old well digging rig with our team and a few spectators. The team is starting the Irrigation Project which will consist of up to 20 wells.
We have been reading many terrible things about flooding in Haiti. Your pictures seem to show that things are ok at Pwoje Espwa. At least the land looks dry.
Some lowlands are still flooded (perfect incubators for mosquitoes), homes have been destroyed and many lost everything. People are living in schools and churches and there are long lines at all food distribution centers. BUT... things are far worse up north.
