Screening

 Sam and Gedna
When our doctors identified five cases of malaria for our children, our friends from North Carolina were quick to respond.  They went out and bought as much screening as possible in town, measured the windows in the kids' homes and started cutting 'em up.  Screens were installed a while back but most needed repairs or replacement.  What a great bunch of people!

  1. Unless Haiti has monster-sized mosquitoes, that screen doesn't appear to have a fine mesh that will keep them out. Am I wrong?

  2. Very observant of you. We are using two screens: one fine mesh to keep skeeters out and the other to protect the screens from the children's activities.

  3. Father Marc,
Tom and I want to thank you, Bernony, Bertony, and Nathalie for your gracious welcome when we dropped in last Friday. We very much enjoyed seeing what you all are doing at Espwa and appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to give us a tour. And I meant to tell you before we left -- Judex was exceptionally nice and helpful and provided a perfect conclusion to for our tour. Thank you again, and God bless you and all the folks at Pwoje Espwa. We will certainly spread the word here in Farmington!
