Our friends from Massachusetts made over 100 dresses for all of the girls at Espwa before they came down to visit. They started their dress making project on MLK Service Day with the help of another congregation close by and individuals from their church continued working on the dresses for months leading up to the trip.
Because they brought down so many dresses the girls were able to choose which designs they liked best. They each ended up with a new summer dress, a hair clip and some hair bands and ties. Thanks to our friends from Massachusetts! The girls are so happy with their choices!
