New uniforms

For the first time in our history we have our own soccer uniforms. Doctor Michael Blood and his church and friends made this possible. The boys were ecstatic (to put it mildly) as you can see in the photo. Dr. Blood brought 66 full uniforms (shirts, shorts, socks, shin guards, two goalies outfits, two jackets for the coaches and a huge assortment of donated soccer shoes. There ain't nothing gonna stop them now!! My favorite is the goalie shirt...way cool!

Is there a doctor in the house?

Our Dr Jacob sits with Dr Michael Blood, his mentor, in our courtyard at Castel-Pere. Dr Blood accompanied his son, Daniel, who will be staying with us a month. Daniel is an engineering student and, boy, do we have plans to use him.

Athens Medical Group

Dr. Mike Blood looks on as I speak with Jimmy about his badly healed broken arm. Dr. Blood and his team came for a short visit and ended up working all morning for which we are grateful. If things go well we will be collaborating in the future with his group in bringing badly needed medical care to many sick Haitians.
