Update on the kitchen-dining room

Not only are all the panels up but the top tier now has cement stucco.  The guys are working full-force on getting the roof done and we are really pleased.

Update on the kitchen-dining room

 

The last roof panel was finally put in place today.  It has been a long time coming.  The crew is working full force now to get this job done.  Way too many delays for my taste.  We are looking forward to finishing it so the children can all eat together under one roof.

Building update

The work on the kitchen-dining room roof is moving along as you can see from the above photos.  We are really, really anxious to start using this building.

Kitchen/Dining Room

Everything is done for the kitchen/dining-room but the roof.  We are waiting on some nuts, screws and special glue which should come in soon.  This is a massive building which really doesn't show in this photo.  We are indebted to the Cracchiolo Family Foundation for this terrific project.

Took this photo this morning.  You can see the pumphouse (left background) on which we will build a cistern/water-tower for the girls' housing and the kitchen/dining room.

Construction Update

For those of you keeping track: top photo shows the posts that were made this past week for the kitchen/dining-room.  Won't be long before we're ready for the roof that was just fabricated in the states. In the bottom photo you can see the rebar sticking up from the base foundation of the clinic.  If the rains stay away we'll have the foundation work completed next week at this time.
