Went by the metal-shop this afternoon and caught a few working on honing their skills to one day become the best metal-workers in the land.

Our carpenters are busy with orders for school desks and benches. I dropped by there this morning and caught Ronald and Pachou hard at work.

Tables

The Food Distribution Center needs tables so our carpenters came up with these beauties. Here are George and Ronald varnishing them outside.

Stairway to heaven?

Are these photos cool or what? That's Ronald sitting just before he drilled the holes (by hand--see the drill on the floor?) for the bolts that attach the wood to the steel and make a staircase. When I asked the carpenters and welders to make this the reaction was "What are you talking about?" but they are all pleased with the results.
