This is the roof of our secondary school which lost several sheets of roofing in the storm.  It was barely dawn when I took this photo so forgive the quality.

A new coat for school

The secondary school is about to get a face-lift with a new coat of paint.  Even though yesterday was one of the hottest of the year with no breezes, the boys were out there doing their best.

Rehab

The old windows of the secondary school were small and made of wood.  These were removed and replaced by clostra blocks which allow more light and better ventilation.  They don't look bad, either.

Lull between storms

Schools are scheduled to open on Monday. Our plan to paint the Secondary School had to be postponed several times due to the wild weather so we attacked the project once the weather started to cooperate. Above are photos of the students doing their share to help. A donor made the purchase of paint and supplies possible. Many thanks!

Secondary School
