Small church

This small Baptist church was one of Hanna's victims this morning. Thank God no one was in there at the time. The schools are filled with homeless families; downtown Les Cayes is flooded; at least three locals have drowned. This is sad but, from what I hear, it is much worse in Gonaives which Hurricane Jeanne slammed a few years ago. Keep the folks there in your prayers.

Ravine du Sud

I've never seen the Ravine du Sud (River of the South) so high and turbulent. There's been lots of flooding, homes have been washed away, several local drownings. It's a terrible disaster for many of our Haitian brothers and sisters. Please keep them and us in your prayers. We have been helping as much as we can but there's just not enough money.
