What you see here in the last electrical pole planted in our corn field and workers raising a transformer. Shepherd of the Hills parish in Eden, Wisconsin made this project possible. We will have electricity from the grid in very short order. The ceremony for switching it on should be in two days and all the kids and staff at Castel-Pere are extremely anxious. We are very appreciative of the kindness and continued generosity shown to us by our friends in Eden. May God bless you.
Stay informed, stay involved: here's one way of keeping up with what's happening in southern Haiti. Please consider supporting our mission to save orphans and vulnerable children from desperate poverty; contributions can be sent to our partners at Free the Kids - www.freethekids.org. Thank you for your help.

Fr. Marc,
ReplyDeleteShepherd of the Hills Parish was excited to do this for the you and the children. We are excited to see that it is happening. What happened to the saxophone?
Praying for you and the children every day.
Sandy
"...Let there be light..." Shepherd of the Hills Parish took that seriously and came to the aid of Pwoje Espwa! What wonderful, generous folks!
