Rain, rain
It rained cats and dogs last night and what a mess was found this morning at Hope Village.
Fr. Marc, I guess that you are thinking about some works that can be done in order to drain these rain waters. You may first ask for some topographic survey of the land where the water cannot flow, and then ask for some drainage design of the land. If some parts of the roads inside the Hope village are not easily vehicular after rains, the topographic levee may also be used to design the geometric profile to be given to the road. Gravel and sand (goog materials) can be used to render vehicular those parts of the roads that are messy after rains... I suppose that you can find in the town of Les Cayes, someone which may be very glad to do (gratis)for you the levee, the drainage design of the land, and, the road design inside the Hope village. Ask the TPTC engineers for example. After that, with yor back-hoe and your people, you could execute the project yourself, I think.
