More from our carpenters
My head carpenter, Boss Elicnor, asked me to come by the workshop today and photograph the new dining set his crew is just finishing. He's especially proud (as he should be) of the legs of both the table and chairs. This set is for an outside client who will hopefully spread the word.

that looks like excellent work. what kind of wood is that and where do you get it from?
ReplyDeleteThe wood is pine, I believe, and it came from the states in a container. We try not to purchase local wood as that only encourages more deforestation. We've planted nine acres of cedar and mahogany trees which we'll be able to start harvesting in a couple of years.
