Reward for outstanding work

These bright and beautiful quilts are gifts from the Faith United Methodist Church of Monmoth, IA, Amanda's church and hometown.  These four children were rewarded for their hard work at Sunday School with these quilts which were made with lots of love.  To our friends in Monmoth, thank you very much!

Lunch with the ladies

Invited the three ladies from the Guest House for lunch today. Dino prepared a chicken, cheese and mashed potato casserole which was well received. Didn't think to take the photo when the table was set but you get the idea.

New and old friends

Amanda and our Dokte Cynthia. Amanda is volunteering for six months and Cynthia is our Medical Director.

Mackenson and Paige. Mac is now our Arts and Crafts Coordinator and Paige watches over the whole thing.

Amanda

Amanda (Farmer to Farmer Program) is with us for a couple of weeks. She'll be training our older boys in farm techniques and has already started by teaching them how to tan a hide. Our Arts and Crafts folks will use this leather for sandals. Recycle! Reuse! Waste not, want not. Way to go, Amanda.
