Sad news
Those of you who have come to visit and stayed at Mr Alexander's home in town will be sad to hear that he has passed away. He was diagnosed with cancer a while back and went to the states for surgery. I just heard that he did not make it. Please join me in praying for him and his grieving family. Mr A was a colorful man who loved company and sharing stories. He will be missed.

Condolences to the family of M. Alexandre. His warm hospitality was much appreciated by those of us who had the pleasure of staying at his home in Les Cayes.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this news, Fr. Marc. When I think of my visit to Pwoje Espwa I always think of sitting on M. Alexandre's front verandah, looking at his photos, listening to his stories and feeding corn to the chickens. He was a gentleman. Is there a way to send condolences to his family?
