It was announced this morning that Mr Rene Preval, a former president, has won the election to the country's highest office. The people were out in the streets chanting and parading for their new leader. Let's pray that Mr. Preval can bring about reconciliation and cooperation.
Congratulations on having an elected President again. I have been following the news closely. I pray for a time of peace and prosperity for Haiti after all of its sufferings.

I don't know which candidate was the best choice or the worst choice, but maybe things will finally settle down now that there has been a final choice!..And if we are really lucky, conditions will actually improve!
