Day four of rain

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words so here's 3,000 words on the weather.
Second floor Quad looking out to Matante's home and the yard.
View of the food depot and the entrance to the children's village.
From left: Jimmy, Bonhomme, MaTante, Bossiko, Luckenson, me, Deacon Peter and Jean Brunel
Church this morning.  Only about 75% of the children showed because of "grippes" and/or lack of dry, clean clothes.

More still

Half this house (in top photo) has been sacrificed to the rains.
This is all that remains of a small church that was located too close to the river.

Water, water everywhere

Inside the children's housing

On the way to the children's housing

It has been raining on and off since yesterday afternoon. The thunder keeps rolling and the ground is saturated so the water has no place to go. Galoshes and umbrellas are part of the uniform today.

A little rain

This was the road to Castel-Pere this morning.
That's the Clinic at center and the Guest house on the left in front of a new lake created in the last 24 hours.

Hope these eggplants like water!
