What a contrast with the above photo!! Guerlain and TiDenis enjoying kindergarden in our makeshift school at Castel-Pere. That's Ti-ComPere sneaking a peek over TiDenis' shoulder. Posted by Hello

  1. John Piccolo writes, I just returned from a wonderful 4-day trip to Haiti and Pwojie Espwa. Penny and I travel a lot and some of our trips are blending together, but this is a journey that I will never forget.
Last evening my daughter-in-law asked me what did I bring the children or how did I help the children when I was down there. I thought for a few seconds and replied, "nothing". They gave me much more than than the couple bags full of goods that I hauled down to Haiti. I got to witness a true miracle in the works and the realization that these people, whether they be in Haiti, Africa, or wherever, do have Espwa, but due to circumstance beyond their control need our help.
I thought that I felt their love and appreciation that they gave back to us. I also saw in Les Cayes people with a positive air of dignity just trying their best to stake out a living and do the best they can for their children.
I will write more later, but I just wanted to post a few words.

  2. Look at these faces! What beauty and happiness. They really are by "big" family.
