Outing

Gens and Nesly Alva (cousins) are "big brothers" to our girls.  They escorted them out of the children's village this afternoon.  The tour took them by the nursery, the pig pens, the fields of eggplant and cabbage.  This is one of many after-school activities which the older boys supervise.  Needless to say, they are a huge help.

  1. What a beautiful picture of Happy Children. This is a real testimony to the work being done by everyone at Proje Espwa.

  2. Father Marc, there seem to be a lot more girls than there used to be. How many are there full time and how many are just going to school there?

  3. There are 38 girls at this time. We had as many as 75 after the earthquake but found extended family members or foster families for the older girls.
