Simones in downtown Lewiston

Larry (Laurent) Gilbert, mayor of Lewiston, Maine, gave me a t-shirt from the owners of Simones Restaurant where my dad used to take me when I was but a tyke.  I remember the place well: the sumptuous smells, the busy laughter and camaraderie and the best hot dogs in the world.  Will have to go back there when I'm in Maine and encourage you to do as well.

  1. Wow! I am from Lewiston, Father Boisvert. My mother knew your mother. I am going to be an election observer in Haiti next week. Your work is very impressive!

I have not been able to find your contact information, alas!
