Below is a photo of Berthony Constant, one of my staff, who just brought this little boy to us. The boy's mother is "folle" which means she is "crazy". She sleeps wherever she can, steals to eat and wanders all day long. This little boy was naked and is malnourished. We'll be taking him to Castel-Pere this afternoon.

The village at Castel-Pere is a paradise for these children-- loving care, education and a chance to experience some of the childhood joys they have been missing (a huge extended family, a place to play and be safe, a full stomach).
