J.D., our newest

Sat hello to J.D.  He's our newest orphan.  Mother died last week so he needs a little extra care.  He's seen here drinking some milk.
Unsure of his new home, J.D. sought shelter under a stool.  It wasn't long before he worked up the courage to start exploring.  I had forgotten how much and how often little puppies leak!  Might as well keep the mop out.

  1. Absolutely adorable! Sorry I am too far away to foster him...

  2. oh goodness. what a cutie. by the way, milk is not actually good for dogs, most cannot easily digest lactose, so it gives them diarrhea. water is best.

  4. Fr. Marc~ Why J.D.? What does it stand for? Ditto about the milk too (although what kind of milk is that; it doesn't look like cow's milk...) And yes-I am currently raising a puppy and its biggest needs are EAT EAT EAT and then out to potty! Over...and over...I'm afraid.

  5. It was Justin who brought me the dog so his full name is Justin's Daug or J.D.

  6. Is Justin one of the boys at Espwa or a neighbor. How did he find the puppy? He must be a kind person.
