We asked Maxo Fontaine to go to Tiburon to check things out. He's from there and was happy to oblige. Top photo: A chasm was cut in the road by the rushing waters of Tomas just before the bridge at Port-a-Piment. Bottom: The normally gentle stream on the outskirts of Les Anglais. Maxo's motorcycle was carried across (for a fee) while he plodded his way to the other side.
