Water damage

Water damage is not always evident at first sight.  This is a tertiary road and it leads to our place outside of Les Cayes.  It's in process of being rebuilt-- all by hand.  No heavy equipment has been used which is pretty amazing.  BUT... a steamroller might have packed the road well enough to prevent the rushing storm waters from washing out a lot of the sand.  This heavy truck sunk into a section that couldn't support it's weight.
Here we are with our blue truck, a BUV and guys unloading the truck to make it lighter so that it can be pulled out.
