Painted Girls' Homes

Which color do you prefer?  Lemon yellow or mint green?  Let me know and I'll tell you what the kids like and which one I'd choose for my home.  Thirty of our girls chose the color...

  1. Yellow of course, lol...it's very Caribbean!

  2. I'm a fan of the Green, but people seem to either really like the yellow, or are completely turned off by it. Christine Costa from the 1st REACH trip votes yellow.

Yellow seems the perfect compliment to all the turquoise (my fav) that you use elsewhere.

  6. I tend to like greens, but that one is a bit drab, though maybe soothing. I prefer bold colors. I guess I would go with the numerous votes for cheery yellow. Omigosh, such a tough decision :)

  7. Make it yellow, however, I think they should all be a different color...I like the lime green as well!

  8. Paint subsequent ones pink and blue, and the community will be as colorful as Easter eggs. I would prefer the green for me, but for kids, I'd vote for yellow.

  12. Ninety percent of the children love the yellow... no surprise there. The green is too soft in comparison (or the yellow is too bold?). I'm thinking of adding some white trim around the windows to kind of balance them out a bit. My preference? Green. Thanks for voting as it shows folks actually look at and read the blog.
