One long month

This boy lost his mother in the rubble of the earthquake. He's one of the Cavaillon kids.

It was exactly a month ago that the earth moved and shook and destroyed Port-au-Prince killing as many as 230,000 Haitians. They say that over a million Haitians lost a family member on the 12th of January. Many more lives were changed within minutes. Our children spent most of the morning in prayer for those who lost their lives, for those who lost their homes and jobs. They prayed for the children. Please remember our sister and brother Haitians in your prayers.

  1. What a sweet face full of innocence and hope! Comme il est beau! Another just as important feature of your charity is the spiritual formation. It's so important to teach the young kids that Jesus is their royal Friend and Lord at the same time; that He will never abandon them, and that He loves them. BLESSED ARE THE POOR, FOR THEY SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH.

  2. Let us not forget that this is the face of the future Haitian generation that will one day create a NEW HAITI. Let us not encourage Brain Drain; they must be formed in Haiti so that they stay there and be future leaders and entrepreneurs of their country.
