Update: Day 5

The immediate crisis is the lack of fuel. No gasoline or diesel can be found for purchase. Some say there's no more and others say there is but that the gas stations will remain closed as long as the banks are closed. This is very bad news. No gas/diesel translates into no electricity from EdH. No fuel means no generators to run pumps for water. No fuel equals no transportation.
Food prices have skyrocketed as we expected. Rice is 50% more expensive now than last week. The last time this happened we had riots.
Have heard nothing from the UN about supplies coming in from Port-au-Prince. Maybe tomorrow! Keep us in your prayers.

  1. I am praying for you, watch the situation, God is with you in this bad time, I feel it, do not loose hope. God´s angels will be with you!! Bless you all! Stephanie, Czech Republic

  2. When you have electricity for Internet contact, here is a UN web site with info on their logistical support, and contact info for their people on the ground.

If you are in Linked In, go to bottom of my detail profile to find connection to approx 200 LI members in Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief Group addressing how we can help

  3. Thank you soooo much for the updates. It is amazing that you have been able to take the time! Thank you for all that you are doing!

Haiti breaks my heart! Further to my personal donation ...

Just want you to know that we have added your website and blog to our online retail store website. You are featured on the home page and we have linked to you. Hope this helps you get a little more support in any way possible!

    Thinking of you all daily,
