Update: Day 5

The immediate crisis is the lack of fuel. No gasoline or diesel can be found for purchase. Some say there's no more and others say there is but that the gas stations will remain closed as long as the banks are closed. This is very bad news. No gas/diesel translates into no electricity from EdH. No fuel means no generators to run pumps for water. No fuel equals no transportation.
Food prices have skyrocketed as we expected. Rice is 50% more expensive now than last week. The last time this happened we had riots.
Have heard nothing from the UN about supplies coming in from Port-au-Prince. Maybe tomorrow! Keep us in your prayers.
